A resolution/ordinance establishing Chapter 108 of the Milwaukee County Code of General Ordinances, creating an abatement schedule for residential properties, and the Housing Opportunities and Minimizing Evictions for Stabilization (HOMES) Program; authorizing the creation of one position within the Housing Division, Department of Health and Human Services, to manage the HOMES Program; creating a Housing Stabilization fund by reallocating $100,000 from the Appropriation for Contingencies in 2017, and appropriating $100,000 from the Appropriation for Contingencies to Legal Action's Eviction Defense Project to increase the number of days the program operates from two to four.
