From the Director, Child Support Services, requesting authorization to execute a second amendment to our Children First contract with Center for Veterans Issues (CVI). The Children First program is a work experience program for unemployed or underemployed payers who are court ordered into the program. CVI provides case management services and activities designed to promote job readiness and financial responsibility. This amendment will run from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. There is no budgetary impact associated with this contract as Child Support Services has budgeted $256,000 for this contract in 2021 and the cost of the contract is fully funded by the State.
