SUBJECT: Proposed Resolution Regarding Extension of TAHC
Assignment for Tarsha Stallworth
Issue:
A request is being made to seek an extension of the Temporary Assignment To A Higher Classification (TAHC) for Ms. Tarsha Stallworth, currently serving in the position of Executive Assistant (Child Support), while the incumbent in this position, Ms. Vernice Strapp-Pitts, serves in a TAHC to the Human Resources Coordinator (Sheriff) position.
Background:
Ms. Stallworth has been serving in a TAHC for the position of Executive Assistant (Child Support) since September 7, 2010. The TAHC has been extended once, per the approval of the Director of Human Resources.
Recommendation:
To assure continuity of operation within the Department of Child Support Enforcement, I am asking that the attached resolution be referred to the Personnel Committee and the County Board for approval to extend Ms. Stallworth's TAHC until such time as Ms. Vernice Strapp-Pitts returns to the position of Executive Assistant (Child Support).
